The magnitude was 8.8. It was bigger than the earthqeake at Christchurch in N.Z which magnitude was 6.3.
Just now the total number of dead and missing people is more than 1600.
We feel very sad.
There were a little damage in Tokyo, but 5 people died in Tokyo.
All of our family is safe and there was no damage in our house.
Very strange things happened at the time for me and my companions.

MIRACLE FLOWERS
2011.03.02 Wednesday
I went to one of the former shogunate garden, Hamarikyu. There were miracle flowers.
Japanese last feudal goverment or Tokugawa goverment continued from 1600 AD to1867 AD.
This garden was made originally in 1654, and located the central area in Tokyo.
Ther were three trees which had white and red flowers at the same time.
We call these ume trees "omoinomama", which means " As You Like".
Red and White means Happiness in Japan.
Some petals are red in one white flower.
Rape blossoms are in full blossom.
These flowers are one of Spring symbols in this garden.
