                HOLY BRIDGE IN TOKYO

                2011.12.23 Friday

                0
There is a bridge named Holy bridge in Tokyo.

                   聖橋(ひじりばし)という橋が、東京のお茶の水に有ります。

                   聖橋-1.jpg
                   Holy bridge in Tokyo.

                    聖橋です。

                  地下鉄と中央線-1.jpg
We can see three kind of trains from this bridge.
Subway train with red stripe,Japan Railroad Chuo-line train with orange stripe and JR Sobu-line train with yellow stripe.

                   地下鉄丸ノ内線、JR中央線、同じく総武線です。

The subway train appears here on the ground to cross the river.

                    この地下鉄は川を越えるために、地上に出て来ました。

Why this bridge is called Holy bridge?

                  湯島聖堂-1.jpg
There is a building called Sacred Hall at Yushima near the bridge.

                   湯島聖堂がこの橋の近くにあります。

                  ニコライ堂-1.jpg
There is a building named Holy Resurrection Cathedral at the another side of the bridge.

                   橋の反対側に聖ニコライ堂があります。

The words Sacred and Holy would become the same word if these words were translated into Japanese.

There is a holy building in each side of the bridge,so this bridge is called Holy bridge by Japanese.

                   この橋の両側に聖なる建物があるので、この橋は聖橋と呼ばれています。

                  TWO METROPOLITAN GARDENS

I went two Metropolitan gardens yesterday. The first one is very near to our house ,named Rikugien.

                     昨日、友人のブログの美しさに刺激を受けて、二つの都立庭園に行きました。最初は我が家の近くの六義園です。

We have few snow in winter. Metropolitan Goverment intention is  to inherit the traditional techique.

                     雪吊りです。

Then I went to another Metropolitan garden ,named Kiyosumi Teien.

This garden is very famous that pinetrees are very beautiful and collection of precious stones.

                     次に清澄庭園に行きました。ここは、松がよく手入れして有るのと貴重な石のコレクションで有名です。

This garden is located near the sea,so there are many seagulls.
